Positions – Vacancies – Payscale:

1) Cost Accountant – 25 posts - Rs. 17300(approx.) /month

2) Chartered Accountants – 25 posts - Rs. 5 lakhs per annum(approx.)

Dates:

Last date to apply for Cost accountant position – February 27, 2010

Last date for Chartered Accountant posts – March 6th 2010

Eligibility for Cost Accountants – Candidates interested to apply for Cost accountants,

* Must not be more than 28yrs of age, as on 31.12.2009

* Should be a Graduate from a recognized university with minimum of 60% marks.

* Must have completed ICWA course (candidates who have written final IWCA exams in Dec 09 can also apply) article posted at www.bankexamsindia.com

for Chartered Accountants – Candidates applying for CA posts in South Indian Bank,

* Must not be above 28 yrs as on 31.1.2010

* Should have a minimum qualification expected of ACA.

Selection & Application: Candidates would be shortlisted based on their eligibility. The procedure of selection for both the posts involves Group Discussion & Interview.

The application fee for cost accountants is Rs.250,which has to be paid by DD , favoring South Indian Bank(no fees for chartered accountant posts).
