ESIC Requires Lower Division Clerks

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) an ISO 9001 :2000 Certified Organisation invites applications from Citizens of India to fill 50 vacancies in the Lower Division Clerk in Gujarat State. Detail given as under:

Lower Division Clerk: Total Post 50 (SC - 03, ST - 07, OBC - 13, GEN - 27) out of which (OH - 2, EXSM - 5); Pay Scale - Rs. 5200 - 20200; 1900 Grade Pay as admissible to Central Government employees.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• AGE (as on 03rd March 2010): 18 to 27 years (relation as per norms).

• EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

i) Higher (12th standard) Secondary Pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
ii) Working knowledge of computer with typing speed 40 words per minute in English or 35 words per minute in Hindi.

EXAMINATION CENTER: Ahmedabad.

APPLICATION FEE: A DD/ Banker Cheque/ Pay order of Rs. 200/- in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No. 1" drawn on State Bank of India (SBI) and payable at Ahmedabad (NIL for SC/ ST/ PH/ EX-SM candidates).

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Written Test (English language + General Awareness + Numerical Aptitude + General Intelligence & General Aptitude)+ Skill Test (typing on computer & working knowledge on computer).
