The hiring season follows this week also with yet another nationalised bank 
announcing its recruitment.Bank of India,a leading public sector bank is to fill up 1750 clerical positions in June 2009.The bank which has 3021 branches in India & 28 branches abroad was founded in the year 1906 and still growing strong after 103 years!
Job position : Clerical cadre
Vacancies : 1750 posts (Reservations are made for each state in India)
Payscale : Rs.4410 - Rs.13210 + allowances & other facilities as per banking rules
Eligibility : * Candidate must be within the age of 18 yrs to 28 yrs as on 30/04/2009
*Must posses a minimum qualification of pass in H.S.C or Std.12th with 50%
*Should hold degree certificate in any stream
*Candidates with a certificate in computer awareness & office automation from a computer institute are preferred
*Knowledge of local language of the specific state for which applied is preferred.
Selection : The selection is based on a written test(300 marks) & Personal interview(100 marks).The merit list would be prepared based on written test,based on which candidates would be called for Interview.

Written examination –9.08.2009
Application : There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen candidates,while Rs.250(General/OBC candidates).The fee has to be paid in any of the bank of India branches using the challan available at the website before 27.06.2009.
